How does the Smug Zone work? 
As a company with thousands of ‘members’, we are able to negotiate special deals with a massive range of shops, hotels, travel companies, indeed anywhere you spend money.  Our buying power allows you to benefit with cheaper goods and services. See next question.

It sounds to good to be true 
It certainly is not. Many large companies reward their staff with special benefits, vouchers for holidays etc.  Because we at the Smug Zone are able to buy from the leaders in the benefits industry we can give everyone the chance to benefit from such rewards, without having to work for a large company.

Can’t I just apply directly for the discounts?
The discounts and vouchers are only available when buying in bulk.  Because the Smug Zone has negotiated with major providers of such benefits to large businesses (our suppliers), we can bring the benefits available to large companies’ employees to our members. Our suppliers liaise directly with the companies whos goods and services are to be made available, gaining substantial discounts because of the level of sales they can guarantee.  You are unlikely to ever receive the level of discounts available to members of the Smug Zone in any other way.

Is there a limit to the savings I can make?
Unlike some discount offers where you receive a certain number of vouchers, the Smug Zone allows you to keep saving every time you spend money with us.  There is no limit to the products or offers you can buy, or the savings you can make, with the Smug Zone.

How long does my membership last?
Members of the Smug Zone receive a full 12-month membership from the date their application and payment is accepted.

How can I pay?
You can pay for your membership by credit or debit card.  Payments for most products and offers accessed via the Smug Zone will also require payment by credit or debit card.

Can I ask for my money back?
Once your payment has been received and your account activated we cannot normally provide a refund unless there is evidence of your details being used illegally.

Will you pass my details to other companies?
No,  your information is confidential and will never be passed or sold to other companies.  The monthly newsletter may provide details of special offers and promotions from the Smug Zone or other partner companies, but your details are never passed on. Check with our Privacy Policy.
