The Smug Zone is a profit-making company, but we also want to give something back, so for every membership sold we donate £5 to charity.  That means every time you make a saving with your membership, you also know you are helping local and national charities with their work.

Supporting Good Causes
The Smug Zone intends working with a range of charities, helping them with long-term projects and one-off donations.

The main beneficiary of our donations is BIBIC (the British Institute for Brain Injured Children), a national charity helping children with brain injuries. [More...] The Smug Zone donates £2 from each membership fee to the charity to help them with their work across the UK.

The charity offers practical help to families caring for children with conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, traumatic and acquired brain injury and specific learning difficulties such as attention deficits hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Other Good Causes
We are looking to support other charities with their work both locally and nationally.  Charities can apply for ongoing support or for one-off projects.  From each membership fee, the Smug Zone will donate £3 into our fund to support good causes.
